Job description

AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS - Remote Working Residential Surveyors - Birmingham - £50-£60,000 + Car/Mileage Allowance + Monthly Bonus (OTE £60,000 - £90,000 approx.)

My client is a well-established national Chartered Surveying practice with over 15 years of experience.

They are respected in the sector and have experienced steady growth, remaining independent with around 35 professionals mainly operating in the L2 / L3 home surveying sector. As they enter their next growth phase, they are seeking experienced L2 / L3 Surveyors committed to maintaining high standards.

The founder, a friendly and experienced leader, offers an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that provides a robust internal infrastructure for training, support, and career development, with a focus on promotion from within.

Their work primarily involves L2 and L3 surveys and RICS red book valuations, with no secured lending work. Training is available for other streams, including expert witness. Typical workloads include one L3 survey per day or two L2 surveys per day.

What the role offers:
  1. Basic salary between £50,000 and £60,000 depending on experience and location, with an OTE of approximately £60,000 to £90,000.
  2. A bonus scheme where 30% of net fees generated within your area are paid as a bonus monthly, exceeding the bonus threshold.
  3. Car allowance (~£6,000 per annum) or mileage allowance—most opt for the latter.
  4. Private healthcare options, including family cover via salary sacrifice.
  5. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure.
  6. RICS subscription and CPD costs covered; sponsorship for VRS included.
  7. Statutory pension scheme.
