Job summary

FirstPort is seeking a Building Remediation Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering complex remediation projects. You will coordinate developers, consultants, and internal teams to implement a unified strategy, manage risk, and keep programmes on track.

You will work hybrid in the Luton/New Milton area, overseeing financial and contractual aspects, and ensuring compliance with building safety regulations. Prior experience in major projects and property management is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires HND/HNC or degree; MIRPM/FIRPM or equivalent is essential
• Extensive operational property management experience
• Demonstrated people leadership and line management abilities
• Knowledge of building safety, government funding programs and related legislation
• Project management capability with formal qualifications or proven delivery experience
• Ability to prioritise and deliver against tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and external consultants in delivering remediation programmes.
• Collaborate with developers and clients to implement a unified remediation strategy.
• Review programme plans and manage timelines, risks and exceptions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across work streams.
• Oversee financial transactions, invoices and funding arrangements.
• Drive process improvements and maintain risk registers for project success.
• Liaise with insurers, project data managers and consultants to ensure timely reporting.
