Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver two residential tower remediation schemes in Luton. You will oversee complex occupied projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality standards.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will manage site teams, budgets, programmes and stakeholder liaison, driving risk mitigation and delivering high-profile remediation works in a growing contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Overall project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
• Management of site teams, subcontractors and specialist consultants.
• Programme management and coordination of all remediation works.
• Cost control and reporting alongside the commercial team.
• Chairing site meetings and progress reviews.
• Managing health and safety compliance across both projects.
• Maintaining quality standards and ensuring works meet regulatory requirements.
• Building positive relationships with residents, clients and stakeholders.
• Managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
