Qualifications

• Registered with Building Safety Regulator as a Class 2A–F Building Inspector.
• Professional membership of a building control related organisation (MCABE/MCIOB/MRICS) or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings comply with relevant building safety legislation and statutory obligations.
• Contribute to council's resilience capabilities in building safety matters.
• Work as part of a team of skilled professionals to achieve high standards of health, safety, sustainability and accessibility in city buildings.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss roles and discuss discuss role requirements with hiring manager.
