Job summary

Manchester City Council is seeking a Class 2A Building Inspector to join the Building Control Service. The role requires registration with the Building Safety Regulator and membership of a professional body, with a full UK driving licence and car for work.

Qualifications

• Registered with Building Safety Regulator as Class 2A Building Inspector.
• Membership of a building control related body (e.g. MCABE, MCIOB, MRICS).
• Possess a full UK driving licence and be able to provide own car for work.

• Contribute to resilience and safety of city developments, including large venues and infrastructure.
