The role involves supporting budgets, performance targets, and working with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will lead small teams, engage with elected members, and use digital systems to enhance service delivery. Strong post-qualification experience and professional accreditation are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of building regulations and related legislation.
• Significant post-qualification experience including managing small teams and delivering performance targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organised and able to prioritise deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality building control services within regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to service performance, budget monitoring and achieving local/national targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, elected members, and external partners to shape service delivery and drive improvements.
