Job summary

Foster + Partners is looking for a Building Control Surveyor in London to shape safe, compliant design outcomes by advising on UK Building Regulations and safety legislation. You will collaborate with architects and engineers on innovative projects.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Building Control consultancy, a deep understanding of compliance processes, and ideally holds chartered membership or relevant qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package includes private medical insurance and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Building Control or consultancy services within design and construction.
• Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance processes.
• Chartered membership with CABE, CIOB or RICS preferred.
• Registered Building Inspector (RBI), Class 3H registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Influence design excellence and embed compliance with Building Regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high-profile UK projects.
• Shape best practice for safety and compliance strategies.
