Sweco Building Control is recruiting Class 2 and 3 Building Inspectors to join a motivated team. The role involves plan checks, site visits, and advising clients and design teams on building control matters within a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will hold appropriate accreditation (RICS/CABE/CIOB or similar) and RBI registration, with a proactive approach to client relationships and delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
• Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports, witnessing tests (therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential).
• Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work.
• Be familiar with and use the management systems, including complying with the Quality Management system.
• Operating in accordance with the commercial requirements of the projects (costs and programme).
