Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Class 2A+ Building Control Surveyor for a North West-based post. The role is hybrid, combining site inspections with home-based work, and it offers a 6-month initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

The position requires Class 2A+ registration with the BSR, proven Building Control experience, and a full UK driving licence for site visits.

Qualifications

• Must be Class 2A+ registered with the BSR.
• Proven experience within Building Control.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and legislation.
• Ability to work autonomously in an interim capacity.
• Full UK driving licence (due to site visits).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out site inspections across a range of building types.
• Assessing compliance with Building Regulations.
• Plan checking and providing technical advice.
• Liaising with applicants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring works meet statutory and safety standards.
