Job summary

Sweco Building Control in England and Wales is seeking motivated Class 2 and 3 Building Inspectors to join the team. We operate a hybrid model with typically 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days at home, depending on site visits and client meetings.

You will manage a broad range of projects, undertake plan checks for Building Regulation approval, attend meetings to advise on building control matters, and work with the Quality Management system while ensuring RBI registration where

Qualifications

• Qualified expert with a commitment to excellence.
• RICS, CABE, CIOB or similar accreditation.
• Strong Building Control experience with RBI registration.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.

• Familiarity with and use of Quality Management systems.
• Operate in line with the commercial requirements of projects (costs and programme).
