Ashmere Derbyshire Ltd in Heanor is seeking a Senior BSL Care Assistant to join the Deaf Household at Heanor Park Care Home. This full-time role is 35 hours per week across five shifts and requires a passion for helping deaf residents maintain independence.

The successful candidate will support deaf residents using British Sign Language, have experience with medication administration, and may work toward NVQ3.

Qualifications

• BSL communication essential to support deaf residents.
• Experience administering medication preferred; willingness to work toward NVQ3.

Responsibilities

• Support deaf residents to maintain independent living.
• Administer medications per care plan and document appropriately.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as required.
