Ashmere Derbyshire Ltd in Heanor is seeking a Senior BSL Care Assistant to join the Deaf Household at Heanor Park Care Home. This full-time role is 35 hours per week across five shifts and requires a passion for helping deaf residents maintain independence.
The successful candidate will support deaf residents using British Sign Language, have experience with medication administration, and may work toward NVQ3.

We have an opportunity for people that can use BSL (British Sign Language) to support deaf members of our community. We want you to bring a passion for helping elderly deaf residents maintain an independent lifestyle. We are currently recruiting both full time and part time positions.

The ideal candidate must be flexible in workingallshifts.
It might not be that you have any paid experience providing care to others however you may have looked after and given care to a friend or family member. You will need to have experience of administrating medication and possess or be willing to work towards your NVQ3 qualification.
