Job summary

Allianz Management Services Ltd., based in London or Chelmsford, seeks a Head of Broker Pricing and Underwriting for Non-Standard Specialist. This hybrid role requires 50% office presence and leadership of a pricing and underwriting team to drive strategy, profitability, and regulatory compliance across the broker Non-Standard portfolio.

You will steer pricing, oversee governance, and collaborate with Finance to forecast GWP and plan financially using Anaplan, while building key broker

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in pricing, underwriting or portfolio management.
• Extensive knowledge of non-standard insurance portfolios and broker models.
• Strong data interpretation and commercial action translation.
• Experience managing financial plans, forecasts and performance metrics.
• UK insurance regulation and fair customer outcomes understanding.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic vision for Broker Non-Standard portfolio in scope of pricing and underwriting.
• Lead and develop a high-performing management team and talent pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, broker activity and competitor movements.
• Drive innovation to improve capability, performance and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast GWP and support business planning via Anaplan.
• Maintain governance, controls and compliant underwriting standards.
• Build strategic broker relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead change initiatives and cross-functional implementation.
