Job summary

Clancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a five-span overbridge construction in Immingham. You will manage site teams, subcontractors, budgets and the programme from planning to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery.

With a strong civil engineering background and CDM 2015 compliance knowledge, you will drive safety culture, coordinate temporary works and maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.

Qualifications

• You have a strong background in civil engineering and structures with proven experience delivering bridge or similar complex construction schemes.
• You’ll be confident managing people, budgets, programmes and client relationships with knowledge of temporary works, CDM 2015, health and safety legislation, QA and environmental requirements.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing site construction activity for a five-span overbridge, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Leading operational teams and subcontractors, ensuring competence, compliance and clear communication across the programme.
• Managing the structures programme of works, including planning, progress updates, reporting and delivery milestones.
• Overseeing temporary works, including coordination, design development and global stability considerations during construction.
• Monitoring budgets, controlling costs and managing plant, materials and labour efficiently.
• Reviewing and approving RAMS, Temporary Works and lifting operations in line with legislation and company procedure.
• Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, QA processes and QMP systems.
• Promoting a strong safety culture, visual leadership and collaborative behaviours with clients and stakeholders.
