Job summary

Payward is seeking a senior Brand Designer to own the core brand system and raise quality across pods. You will develop, maintain, and codify visual identity standards across Payward's growing brands, while translating crypto concepts into practical guidance for diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience as a brand designer in agency, in-house, or both.
• Systems thinking as a default mode; see patterns and solve for the whole.
• Strong experience with motion or working with motion designers.
• Brand identity expertise: scalable visual systems create trust and recognition.
• Strategic affinity: define what the brand should stand for before execution.
• A strong communicator who articulates brand decisions clearly.
• A portfolio showing coherent brand thinking and impact.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the core brand system: guidelines, components, templates, assets.
• Raise brand quality across pods by building resources and guidance.
• Develop and maintain visual identity standards across Payward brands.
• Define and document brand behavior across surfaces, AI outputs, and new categories.
• Collaborate with pod designers, marketers, and product partners to fix root causes.
• Translate crypto concepts into clear, usable brand guidance for non-brand staff.
• Lead design reviews with constructive, generative feedback.
• Stay ahead of how design tools and AI reshape brand practice.
