Job summary

DRVN Automotive Group in Coventry seeks a Senior Design Engineer - Body Structures to lead design, development, validation and release of body structure components across the product lifecycle. You will create CATIA V5 models and drawings, pursue lightweight, cost-effective solutions, and collaborate with CAE and manufacturing to meet safety, durability, stiffness, quality and regulatory targets.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Experience with CATIA V5 CAD modelling and drawings.
• Strong understanding of body structures design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop body structural components and assemblies.
• Create and maintain CATIA V5 CAD models and drawings.
• Support crashworthiness, stiffness, durability, and weight reduction goals.
• Collaborate with CAE for simulations and validation.
• Lead design reviews and issue resolution.
