Job summary

DRVN Automotive Group in Coventry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-moving team. You will develop, implement and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes across programmes, collaborating with Design, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Production and suppliers.

The role suits a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges, developing tooling and fixtures, and creating safe, efficient and repeatable production processes in a luxury automotive

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in automotive, motorsport, or related environments.
• Experience supporting products from prototype through production launch.
• Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Experience designing or developing jigs, fixtures, gauges, tooling or assembly aids.

Responsibilities

• Provide Manufacturing Engineering support from concept through prototype builds, launch and production.
• Review CAD data, engineering drawings, BOMs and specifications to identify manufacturing requirements and risks.
• Define manufacturing and assembly methods for components and sub-assemblies.
• Develop and update work instructions, process sheets and assembly instructions.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans and root-cause analysis to prevent issues.
