Qkine Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Senior R&D Technician to support the R&D team in laboratory operations, from preparing buffers and media to calibrating equipment. The role requires hands-on bench work and adherence to SOPs in a regulated environment.

We welcome candidates with varying levels of hands-on lab experience who demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn, with full training provided in protein expression and purification.

Qualifications

• BSc in Biochemistry or related discipline or relevant industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Willingness to learn protein expression and purification.
• Hands-on experience in lab environments and SOP adherence.
• On-site presence required during working week.

Responsabilités

• Prepare buffers, media and gels.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Receive deliveries and monitor consumable stock levels.
• Manage laboratory waste.
• Full training provided in protein expression and purification.
