Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Higher Biomedical Support Worker to join the Cellular Pathology Department in Leeds. This full-time, permanent role supports routine and complex laboratory workflows and involves handling tissue samples, bodily fluids and laboratory chemicals.

You will undergo in-house training to attain competency, work as part of a large multidisciplinary team, and contribute to high-quality, patient-focused diagnostic services in a forward-thinking

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory or diagnostic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Collecting, receiving and assisting in the processing of clinical diagnostic cellular pathology specimens for testing.
• Organising tasks and assisting in the ordering, receipt and control of consumables.
