Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Leeds (St James’s University Hospital) is seeking a HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist with the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Cellular Pathology to join a large, highly specialised Cellular Pathology service.

Based mainly at St James's, the role rotates through reception, main lab, molecular diagnostics and cytology, with involvement in quality and training, and a requirement to cover some Saturday shifts.

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with the IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in Cellular Pathology.
• Experience with cellular pathology laboratory techniques at specialist BMS level.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Perform a range of specialist clinical technical investigations in Cellular Pathology.
• Rotate through reception, dissection, main laboratory, molecular diagnostics and cytology.
• Organise tasks and support staff under supervision, with on-call duties.
