Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 7 Advanced Biomedical Scientist in Tissue Dissection at Manchester Royal Infirmary. You will operate within a busy Histopathology team, working with Advanced Practitioners to dissect a wide range of specimens across dermatology, GI, gynecology, and other subspecialties.

The role requires HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist and completion (or progress) of the IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice Histological Dissection.

Qualificações

• HCPC registration as Biomedical Scientist with relevant professional registration.
• IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Histological Dissection (Band 7) or working towards it.
• Experience in tissue dissection across multiple histopathology sub-specialties.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain/ develop competency in tissue dissection of category A–C specimens.
• Complete audits to evidence competence per ISO 15189 and RCPath standards.
• Support senior staff with day-to-day management and service delivery in the lab.
