Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated Senior Biomedical Scientist in Dissection to join the Histopathology team at Queen Alexandra Hospital. You will bring a strong background in histology and exceptional skills in specimen dissection to support accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care.

You will be part of the BMS dissection team, assist in training others, provide senior advice within the B7 team, and deputise for the Histopathology Operational Manager

Qualifications

• Strong background in histology and excellent skills in specimen dissection.
• Willingness to lead and train others within the team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake expert specimen dissection in a range of RCPath categories.
• Act as part of the B7 Senior BMS team, providing senior level advice and support.
• Provide leadership, advice and support to the wider team; deputise for the Histopathology Operational Manager when needed.
