Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in West Yorkshire is seeking a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology - Dissection to join a busy laboratory service on a locum basis. The role is full-time with core hours and an ASAP start, offering an attractive hourly rate.

You will perform macroscopic examination and dissection of surgical specimens, ensuring accurate specimen preparation and thorough documentation within a supportive team environment. NHS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Experience in specimen dissection within a clinical laboratory.
• Experience with macroscopic examination.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• NHS experience (preferred).

Responsibilities
