NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Senior Biomedical Scientist to join the team at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, in a busy diagnostic pathology department providing full pathology services to NHS Tayside.

The successful candidate must hold HCPC registration and an IBMS-accredited MSc in Biomedical Science (or be able to complete it within an agreed timeframe) and demonstrate ongoing professional development with readiness for extensive competence-based assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Handle an annual workload of ~50,000 surgical pathology specimens and 180,000 procedures.
• Work in a busy diagnostic laboratory within NHS Tayside’s pathology services.
• Maintain HCPC registration and uphold professional standards across the department.
