Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced Research Associate to join the Bioanalytical and Molecular Assays team at the Harwell site. You will contribute to the mRNA pipeline by delivering high-quality bioanalytical data to support regulated clinical testing.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will work on ligand binding and cell-based assays, following GLP/GCLP and GMP guidelines to ensure data integrity and compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in biotech/pharma/CRO environments.
• Working knowledge of ligand binding and/or cell-based assays.
• Experience in regulated labs operating under GLP/GCLP/GMP preferred.
• Attention to detail and careful adherence to SOPs and procedures.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time management.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute ligand binding and cell-based assay development and validation experiments.
• Perform sample analysis for clinical specimens following approved procedures.
• Support assay development, validation and sample analysis to meet project timelines.
• Analyse data and communicate results to project teams.
