Job summary

Moderna seeks a highly skilled bioanalytical scientist to join its UK Clinical Bioanalytical team in Oxford. You will work at the intersection of basic science, bioanalysis, and clinical development, advancing RNA program assays under GCLP guidance.

The role emphasizes data integrity, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will develop and transfer robust methods, support PK/PD analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement using evolving digital tools and AI-enabled

Qualifications

M.S. with 5+ years or B.S. with 8+ years in molecular biology or related discipline with bioanalytical experience.
Hands-on with molecular biology techniques including gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, qPCR.
Knowledge of GCLP/GXP regulatory expectations for clinical molecular assays.

Responsibilities

Perform bioanalytical assays using gel electrophoresis, ddPCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR to quantify RNA in biological samples.
Support phase-appropriate assay development, qualification, and validation for PK/PD analyses.
Collaborate with internal/external labs to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
