Job summary

Howden is a leading global reinsurance broker with a culture of collaboration, ownership, and growth. The Senior Binder Claims Handler will oversee claims data and bordereaux, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and strong relationships with brokers, reinsurers and internal teams.

You will play a key role in strengthening controls, improving data quality, and developing scalable claims processes while supporting regulatory and contractual requirements in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within insurance claims and London Market.
• Experience with binder, delegated authority or coverholder business.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee claims bordereaux from coverholders, TPAs, and delegates.
• Validate data for accuracy and completeness before processing.
• Investigate data discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
• Monitor timely receipt and processing of bordereaux.
• Support reconciliation of claims data across systems and insurers.
