Howden Group is seeking a Senior Binder Claims Handler to oversee and optimise the claims process across binder and delegated authority. You will provide senior technical and operational support, ensure accurate processing, and work with brokers, coverholders, insurers and TPAs to strengthen controls.

You will lead the review of bordereaux, resolve data discrepancies, and drive data quality improvements while maintaining regulatory standards and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within insurance claims, ideally within the London Market.
• Experience with binder/delegated authority or coverholder business.
• Understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle.
• Experience reviewing and managing claims bordereaux.
• Knowledge of claims controls, authorities and referral processes.
• Experience with CLASS ECF, IMR, LORS and A&S.
• Strong interpersonal skills dealing with brokers and clients and the ability to build good relationships with internal stakeholders (IBA).
• Good communication skills and experience with OpenTWINS, GBX or similar broking systems.

Responsabilités

• Review and oversee claims bordereaux received from coverholders and other delegated parties.
• Validate claims data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
• Monitor timely receipt and processing of claims bordereaux.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve data quality.
• Support reconciliation of claims data across systems and records.
