Job summary

Howden is seeking an assistant to support the broking team with administrative and technical tasks. You will prepare slips, endorsements, spreadsheets, and other documentation to enable brokers to market risks in Lloyd’s and other markets.

The role offers exposure to the London and international markets, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for career progression within a global insurance group. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in insurance process and the London/International market.
• Able to work well as part of an open and collaborative team.
• Organised with attention to detail; proficient with Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participates in team meetings as required.
• Manages assigned projects and contributes to other projects as required.
• Provides input to team meetings to ensure relevant information is considered.
• Assists in monitoring renewal and new business activity for effective planning and resourcing.
• Reviews client documentation to ensure information is comprehensive and accurate for quoting.
• Maintains up-to-date records on company systems and e-trading platforms.
