Job summary

Senior Billing Specialist in Greater London is sought by a prestigious US law firm client. The role offers hybrid working (4 days in office, 1 day remote), a salary up to £52,000, and 09:30–17:30 hours in a superb city centre setting.

The successful candidate will prepare and review monthly bills, handle enquiries on time entries and billing, assist collections, and manage client engagement letters with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing/finance experience within a law firm.
• Excellent knowledge of VAT and understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly draft bills to include addressing billing discrepancies.
• Respond to all queries regarding time entry and/or billing; proactively contact timekeepers.
• Review time entry protocols.
• Participate in the collections process, resolving delinquent accounts in a timely manner.
• Administer client engagement letter process.
• Provide timely information on billing and collections.
• Facilitate WIP & A/R write-offs, client refunds and UAC application processes by preparing.
