  • Test functionality and reports during billing system upgrades.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Billing Specialist to join the London office of a highly-regarded US law firm.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the successful execution of the billing and collection strategy for their assigned partners across selected offices and practice groups.

The role will involve closely collaborating with partners and practice group leaders as well as broader finance colleagues to ensure the prompt and accurate payment of bills and compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the billing and collection process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment of clients.
  • Preparing bills including narrative descriptions, transfers and on account applications, with high attention to detail.
  • Monitoring assigned partner’s monthly aging AR reports and taking appropriate action.
  • Updating key finance reports to ensure timely and quality reporting for Senior Management.
  • Successfully handling more complex billing and following up with partners accordingly.
  • Responding to billing and AR enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing the successful submission of E-Billing.
  • Collaborating with Operations teams to develop efficiencies in the billing process.
  • Testing functionality and reports during billing system and report upgrades.
