Job summary

St John Ambulance is seeking a Senior Business Development and Bids Manager to lead and strengthen the organisation's BD and bids capability on a nationwide basis. The role focuses on identifying strategic opportunities, governance of bid activity and delivering compelling, commercially robust proposals.

The candidate will develop operating models, support senior stakeholders and collaborate across Sales, Strategy and Operations to drive growth and deliver sustainable value for the charity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development, bid management or related strategic commercial environment.
• Experience leading pipelines and bid activity from opportunities to proposals.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead St John Ambulance’s business development and bids capability to identify and progress opportunities.
• Develop and manage the BD and bids pipeline with prioritised opportunities.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships to support successful outcomes.
