Job summary

Serco Group Plc is seeking a Senior Bid Writer to lead complex bids across UK & Europe, owning written response development from ITT through final submission.

You will coach and line-manage bid writers, collaborate with Solution Leads, SMEs and commercial teams, shaping winning propositions and enforcing best-practice processes. Hybrid working and stakeholder influence across Growth are offered.

Responsibilities

• Leading the written response development for complex and large bids, from ITT release through to final submission.
• Developing compelling, compliant and customer-focused responses designed to maximise scores against evaluation criteria.
• Analysing customer specifications and procurement documentation to identify key response requirements.
• Line managing Bid Writers, including contractors, and monitoring delivery against milestones.
• Providing coaching, guidance and constructive challenge to Bid Writers throughout the bid process.
