Job summary

360 Recruitment is recruiting a Bid Writer for a Derby-based, hybrid role within a leading civil engineering and specialist contracting business. You will support the bid process from opportunity through to final submission, drafting compelling responses that communicate capabilities and value.

The role collaborates with operations, commercial and technical teams; responsibilities include writing tender submissions, coordinating inputs, maintaining the bid library and helping identify

Qualifications

• Experience in a Bid Writer/Proposal Writer role.
• Construction, civil engineering or related sector experience.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience producing tender responses and pre-qualification submissions.
• Collaborative approach with stakeholders across the business.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing and reviewing high-quality bid and tender submissions.
• Producing engaging content for PQQs, ITTs, SQs and framework submissions.
• Coordinating bid responses from internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Ensuring submissions are completed accurately and in line with client requirements.
• Maintaining and developing the bid library and supporting documentation.
• Helping to identify win themes and key differentiators within submissions.
• Managing multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the bid function.
