Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a Senior Bid Writer to join its Work Winning team on a UK-wide, hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). You will own the bid process from content development to polished submissions, translating complex technical information into persuasive proposals and leading high-impact bids for major construction projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer or similar, ideally within construction or bidding environment.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• The ability to turn complex information into compelling proposals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction and tendering/procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the writing and development of high-quality bid submissions.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging and persuasive content.
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop strong bid responses.
• Identify client hot buttons, win themes and key differentiators.
• Manage multiple bids and competing deadlines.
• Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, quality and consistency.
• Contribute to improving bid processes, templates and knowledge resources.
• Support and mentor colleagues to continually raise bid quality.
