Job summary

Saxton Recruitment is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to join the Birmingham pre-construction team, delivering D&B projects across the West Midlands from £10m to £100m with a Top 10 building contractor. The role leads a bid team, manages single and two-stage tenders, and ensures bids meet client expectations while staying on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will work across education, healthcare, blue-light, leisure, MoJ and MoD frameworks, with a focus on quality, collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience working on one and two stage tenders.
• Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor.
• Great communication and organisation skills.
• Experience leading and managing bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid team delivering both single and two-stage tenders.
• Ensure bids meet customer expectations and, wherever possible, exceed them.
• Support pre-construction activities to secure successful bids.
