Job summary

ITS (Cheltenham) Ltd in the Midlands is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager (Bid Manager) to lead two-stage/negotiated tenders from £10m to £150m across Education, Leisure, Health, Blue Light, transport and Commercial sectors. You will manage a bid team and coordinate internal/external resources to deliver bids on time, within budget and to quality standards.

The role is based in Birmingham or Nottingham with hybrid working, reports to Preconstruction Manager, and requires strong

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary project team through RIBA Stages 2-4.
• Proven ability to manage diverse technical input for bids.
• Strong leadership and collaboration with internal and external resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid team including estimators, designers, MEP professionals and consultants.
• Develop and implement commercial strategy for bids.
• Manage customer expectations through health checks and regular reporting.
• Coordinate inception workshops and ensure understanding of customer needs.
• Drive sustainability and continuous improvement in preconstruction processes.
• Ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to operations.
