Job summary

A4 Plus Limited is seeking an experienced Bid Manager / Proposal Manager to join its growing bid function. You will own the full bid lifecycle from qualification to submission, coordinating with technical, operational and commercial teams to deliver high-quality proposals.

Location has flexibility with hybrid working considered. The role requires at least 3 years in bid/tender management and strong writing, editing and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' bid/tender management experience.
• Experience as Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, or Senior Bid Writer.
• Experience coordinating multiple contributors on complex bids.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills.
• Experience with competitive tenders and RFP submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bid, tender and RFP processes from opportunity through submission.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and response plans based on client criteria.
• Coordinate technical, operational and commercial contributors throughout the bid process.
• Set deadlines, manage review stages and keep stakeholders on track.
• Write and tailor proposal content, including executive summaries and methodologies.
• Ensure submissions meet quality, governance and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate pricing and commercial information with stakeholders.
• Oversee final production and submission of bids.
• Maintain bid templates, case studies and capability statements.
• Improve bid processes and content libraries; capture lessons learned.
