Job summary

Arup is seeking a proactive Senior BD Coordinator to join the Cities, Planning & Design Portfolio and lead end-to-end bid production, coordinating programmes, strategy workshops and reviews to win compelling proposals.

The role offers professional development within the UKIMEA BD community, with opportunities to collaborate across a global network of proposal specialists while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, business or related field (APMP desirable).
• Experience in bid coordination/writing within the UK construction or professional services sectors.
• An understanding of bid processes and governance.
• High proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint; CRM experience a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, clear written communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A collaborative mindset and the drive to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end to end bid production, including bid programmes, strategy workshops, planning sessions and reviews.
• Track progress, manage deliverables and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
• Draft and refine content, including case studies and CVs.
• Maintain bid libraries and project collateral.
• Build strong relationships across sectors to deepen understanding of clients, markets and opportunities.
