Job summary

Senior BI Developer is sought to join a fast-growing global sportswear and lifestyle brand. You will own the end-to-end Power BI environment, collaborating with business leaders to shape BI systems and data infrastructure as the business scales.

Key responsibilities include designing semantic models, optimizing SQL queries, managing ERP data, ETL pipelines, security and governance, and delivering enterprise BI solutions across Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficient in Advanced SQL Server / T-SQL.
• Strong skills in stored procedures and views.
• Ability to optimise SQL queries and performance.
• Experience with data transformation processes.
• Expertise in enterprise semantic models.
• Advanced DAX expertise and Power BI Service.
• Experience with Power BI gateways and dataflows.
• Understanding ERP data structures and integrations.
• Knowledge of BI governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Power BI semantic models and datasets.
• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Own backend SQL logic supporting the Power BI semantic layer.
• Manage ERP data structures, extraction and integrations.
• Design and maintain ETL processes and data transformation pipelines.
• Develop data cleansing, mapping and validation logic.
• Manage Power BI gateways, dataflows, workspaces and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and optimise DAX measures and calculations.
• Implement incremental refresh and performance optimisation.
• Troubleshoot data integrity, refresh, connectivity and performance issues.
• Establish BI governance, security, testing, documentation and version-control standards.
• Manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and user access.
• Support reporting across Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.
• Act as internal SME for Power BI infrastructure and BI data architecture.
