Job summary

WellData Limited is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop and support modern BI solutions using Power BI and SQL Server technologies. The role emphasizes enterprise-scale reporting, data modelling, and mentoring junior team members.

The successful candidate will work with clients and internal teams to transform raw data into meaningful insights, delivering end-to-end BI lifecycle expertise from requirements through deployment and optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of designing and delivering Power BI solutions.
• Experience building enterprise BI platforms with scalable data models.
• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into robust BI designs.
• Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, semantic models and RLS.
• Experience with SQL Server and dimensional modelling.
• Experience mentoring junior BI developers and data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Create scalable data models using dimensional modelling and star schema.
• Build intuitive dashboards and reports enabling data-driven decision making.
• Develop semantic models, datasets, dataflows and Power BI workspaces.
• Implement best practices for report performance, security and governance.
• Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to development standards.
