Job summary

Unknown organisation in York is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to own complex BI solutions from design through deployment and ongoing improvement. You will work with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to raise standards and performance across reporting platforms.

The role is hands-on, senior, and involves mentoring, governance and architecture influence while delivering user-friendly dashboards and scalable data models.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Power BI, DAX and Power Query.
• Experience in enterprise reporting environments.
• Ability to mentor and review work of other BI developers.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Google Cloud Platform is beneficial.

Job description

We’re working with a well-established organisation in York that is investing heavily in its Data, Analytics and AI capability and is looking to appoint a Senior Power BI Developer.

This is a senior hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of complex, business-critical Power BI products from initial requirements and solution design through to build, deployment, support and continuous improvement.

You’ll work closely with Data Engineering, Data Product, Data Management and wider analytics teams, helping to set technical standards and improve the quality, performance and usability of reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

This would suit an experienced Power BI Developer looking for a senior position where they can remain hands-on technically while having genuine influence over BI standards, architecture and delivery.
