Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Head Bartender to oversee daily beverage service, mentor junior staff, and maintain top-tier presentation for our members and guests. You will work with the Bar Manager to craft innovative menus, ensure stock cleanliness, and uphold the club’s elevated service culture.

You’ll lead by example with advanced mixology skills and strong product knowledge, delivering refined experiences while training the team and coordinating with events to drive exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bar experience, including supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
• Experience in luxury, private members club, or high-end hospitality
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
• Clear communication and calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations during service, ensuring the bar is fully set and running smoothly
• Deliver high-quality beverage service across cocktails, wines, and premium spirits
• Mentor, train and support bar staff with product knowledge
• Collaborate with Bar Manager to design seasonal drinks and events
• Ensure licensing, hygiene and safety standards are met
• Maintain product knowledge and supplier awareness
• Manage stock levels and report wastage
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
• Work with floor, kitchen and events teams for seamless experiences
• Uphold brand ethos through conduct and grooming
