Job summary

Soho House & Co is seeking a Head Bartender to oversee day‑to‑day beverage service, maintain high standards, and deliver a refined guest experience. You will train junior staff, manage stock and help develop innovative menus, while upholding the club’s elevated service culture.

You will lead by example with top mixology skills, product knowledge, and outstanding guest service, working closely with the Bar Manager to sustain exceptional standards across the beverage program.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in bar roles with 1+ year in a supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines and premium spirits.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Clear communication under pressure and guest‑facing service skills.
• Personal License or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations during service to ensure smooth delivery.
• Provide high-quality beverage service including cocktails and wines.
• Mentor and train junior bar staff with product knowledge.
• Collaborate with Bar Manager on seasonal menus and events.
• Ensure licensing, hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
• Maintain stock levels and report shortages or wastage.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with floor, kitchen and events teams for seamless service.
• Uphold club brand standards through conduct and grooming.
