Job summary

A leading video platform is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with GoLang experience to contribute to the VoD2Live project. The role involves building high-performance backend services and integrating with CDNs, DRM, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and deep knowledge of video streaming protocols and microservices architecture. This is a 12-month contract, outside IR35, with remote work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Senior or Lead backend developer with GoLang experience.
• Proficiency in GoLang (MUST-HAVE) and backend languages.
• Strong knowledge of streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH) and CDNs.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, high-performing backend services for VoD2Live.
• Integrate with third-party services (CDNs, DRM providers, cloud platforms).
• Write well-documented, maintainable code and ensure monitoring.
