Client Server Limited is seeking an experienced Backend Developer / Software Engineer to build a real-time messaging platform using Go and Node.js. You will design scalable distributed systems, own core backend capabilities and help push performance and reliability in a fast-growing tech environment.

The role supports remote work with occasional London office meetups; collaborating via Slack and joining monthly tech talks.

Qualifications

• Back-end development experience with Go/Node.js.
• Experience with distributed systems or messaging platforms.
• Understanding of scalability, concurrency and fault tolerance.
• Experience with Pub/Sub messaging.
• Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with AI development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core messaging platform for real-time infrastructure.
• Improve performance and reliability of highly scalable distributed systems.
• Contribute to low-latency messaging, Pub/Sub services, and state synchronization.
• Maintain architecture, code quality and technical decision-making.
