Qualifications

• Commercial, production experience with distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record with messaging queues or pub/sub systems at real scale.
• Hands-on coding ability and comfort meeting a tough technical bar.
• Experience using AI tooling to accelerate development while keeping human rigor.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy core backend services with focus on low latency and high availability.
• Drive new functionality to scale and improve the Pub/Sub platform.
• Ship features, improve performance, and maintain planet-scale infrastructure reliability.
• Leverage AI tools for planning, prototyping, and iteration while owning technical decisions.
