Dex is seeking a Staff-level, full-stack engineer to join a trusted partner company building realtime messaging infrastructure for millions of devices. You will report directly to the CTO, co-own the DevEx vision, and lead a team of five engineers responsible for every customer-facing web application.

You will set the technical architecture, push for rapid iteration, and ensure your team acts as principal stakeholders, not just implementers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a senior or staff-level full-stack engineer.
• Strong React and TypeScript frontend with backend experience in Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
• Experience leading a small engineering team and shaping engineering culture.
• Ability to integrate AI tools and improve developer velocity.
• Empathy for developer customers and solid API design sensibility.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of five full-stack engineers, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people development.
• Own the end-to-end technical architecture for all customer-facing web applications: analytics dashboard, documentation platform, marketing site, sign-up, and billing flows.
• Drive the adoption and integration of AI tools and LLMs to significantly multiply team productivity and velocity.
• Set the bar for engineering excellence across code review, testing, and incident response.
• Collaborate closely with SDK and realtime infrastructure teams, ensuring a cohesive developer experience from the ground up.
