Wise London is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Partner Experience team. You will design and build backend microservices in Java/Spring Boot for enterprise partners, focusing on live onboarding, permissions, fraud reporting, and case management.

• Designing, building, and deploying backend microservices in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
• Designing and maintaining RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, and versioning.
• Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with performance and data modelling considerations.
• Ability to document findings clearly and map complex technical landscapes.
• Delivery-focused, independent, and collaborative across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend microservices for partner-facing features including fraud reporting, case management, and audit logging.
• Build and maintain the RBAC system governing partner portal access.
• Implement SSO (SAML 2.0) integration and identity mapping with partner systems.
• Extend the communication layer between Wise and partners for new workflows.
• Design consistent partner APIs with good documentation and minimal hand-holding.
• Collaborate with FinCrime, Compliance, and KYC teams; provide production support.
