Spectrum Search is hiring on behalf of a rapidly scaling SaaS business in Nottingham for multiple Full Stack Developers (junior to senior) with a backend focus. You’ll design, build, and maintain Java/Spring backends, structure databases, and create APIs while collaborating with frontend developers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring framework.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and structure.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and best practices.
• Experience in full stack development (bonus: React or other front-end knowledge).
• For senior role: proven track record of leading or mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring-based backend systems.
• Architect and formally structure efficient, scalable databases.
• Build APIs and integrations to power responsive web applications.
• Work closely with front-end developers to deliver seamless features.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing applications.
• Contribute to overall architecture, with one senior position acting as No.2 to the Head of Engineering.
